About God Side Disciples
Built to Train. Not Just to Inform.
God Side Disciples is a daily discipleship ministry built around one conviction: the Bible isn't meant to be read and forgotten — it's meant to be trained into your life.
The Mission
Most people who want to grow in their faith know they should read the Bible. The problem isn't access — it's application. We read a passage, close the book, and walk back into the same patterns, the same struggles, the same version of ourselves.
God Side Disciples was built to change that. The ministry uses a gym and personal-training framework to make discipleship practical and personal. Every Spiritual Workout is designed to move you from reading to examining to applying — to help you identify what needs to go and what God is building in you.
The goal isn't to produce people who know more Bible facts. The goal is to produce disciples who live differently because of what they've trained.
Why God Side Disciples Exists
God Side Disciples grew out of a simple realization: it is possible to spend years reading the Bible, hearing sermons, and learning about God while still struggling to put His Word into practice in everyday life.
We didn't need another way to simply get through Scripture. We needed a way to slow down, examine ourselves honestly, and ask the harder questions: Where am I doing this? What needs to change? What needs to go? What is God trying to build in me?
That's where the Spiritual Workouts came from. Each workout is designed to move Scripture from the page into real life — our decisions, attitudes, relationships, habits, struggles, and obedience.
We're not trying to see how quickly we can get through the Bible. We're trying to see how much of the Bible can get through us.
God Side Disciples isn't about building a following around a person. It's about helping ordinary people become stronger disciples of Jesus Christ by opening God's Word, examining themselves honestly, and then living differently because of what they read.
What We Believe About Training
Application over information
Knowing Scripture is good. Living it is the goal. Every workout is designed to close the gap between the two.
Consistency over intensity
Spiritual growth works like physical training — it's built through daily, steady effort over time. Not one big event.
Honesty over performance
The Post-Workout Mirror Moment isn't about looking good. It's about being honest with God and yourself about what the Word is revealing.
Obedience over knowledge
Knowing what God's Word says means little if we refuse to do what it says. The goal of every workout is movement — taking what God shows us and putting it into practice.
